How do you know if a call is being recorded?
If while talking on a call, you are hearing the sound of beep constantly it could be a sign that your call is being recorded. It is illegal in many countries to record someone's call without their knowledge, which is why most mobile phone makers include a beep sound in their devices.
If you are not a party to the conversation, you can record a conversation or phone call only if at least one party consents and has full knowledge that the communication will be recorded. The statute also prohibits recording conversations with criminal or tortious intent.
