Third-person p.o.v.

As the rain poured down (y/n) walked through the rain on the way to work.
It was cold, windy, wet, and overly depressing.

They had no umbrella and just a thick hoodie on.
The best thing they had was their waterproof backpack carrying extra clothes and shoes.

Roxy sat by the doorway entrance waiting for her partner to arrive at work.
The pizza plex was so quiet you could hear the sounds of Roxy's tail swishing against the floor as she waited.
She could only wonder what was taking you so long.

The truth was your car broke down and you had no way to fix it.
It was unfixable.
(Y/n) was always the first person to work and opened the pizza plex.
But as most could already tell, they were late.

Roxy started to curl up on the floor like a dog and stared at the door.
"Roxy?" Freddy called out. She sighed.
"What Freddy?" Roxy asked looking at Freddy.
"Why are you on the floor? You know they will be here soon." Freddy stated.
"But they're taking more time than usual. What if they are hurt? Or...or what if they-" Freddy cut her off.
"(Y/n) is all right Roxy. Don't worry. Sometimes they get busy. Just like us."

Roxy sighed loudly.
As she went back to looking at the door.
Freddy nodded and walked back to his room to give Roxy her space.

She whimpered a little. She wanted to run out the door and find you. But that would ruin her circuits.

That's when suddenly the door clicked and it opened making a squeaking sound.
Roxy's head rose so quickly as she wagged her tail.

Roxy's p.o.v.

Once I heard the door click and open I jumped to my feet hoping it was (y/n).
As the person walked through the door, it was them!
It's them, it's them, it's them!

"(Y/n)! You're finally here!" I beamed.
"Y-yes. I'm h-here." They stuttered with a small chuckle.
As I looked at (y/n)'s clothes, they were damp and looked to be soaked in water. Don't tell me they walked here.
"(Y/n), what's wrong? Your clothes are all wet."
"O-oh. I had t-to walk here. S-sorry it took me so long." They stammered.
"Sweetheart, you shouldn't have walked in the rain," I warned them.
"I know, I know. B-but it was t-the o-only way to get here." (Y/n) shivered. I sighed and took their cold hand.
"Come on. Let's get you dry, and warm, and put some new clothes on."

Leading them to my room you could hear the slight sound of (y/n)'s wet shoes as they walked.
I don't think we are having any customers today. It's too gloomy outside.

Once getting into my room I had (y/n) take off their shoes by the heater to dry. "Can you take off the rest of the clothes too? I'll try to find a towel for your hair." I asked them.
That's when I realized how I worded the question.
(Y/n) raised an eyebrow.
"Y-you know what I meant!" I blushed.
They started to laugh.
"Yes, I know what you meant." (Y/n) laughed more.

I covered my face in embarrassment as went to go find them a towel.
Looking in the supply closet first I was lucky to one a blue and grey towel.

Walking back to my room (y/n) was sitting on the couch with some sweatpants, a blank shirt, and new socks.
"Hey, I found one. I'm sure this will work." I explain as I handed them the towel.
With a shaky hands, they took the towel and slowly started to dry their hair.

Now I think about it I have a plug-in heater that (y/n) could sit in front of.
They were still cold and shaky.
I know I have a lot of blankets.

Quickly I found the heater and a bunch of blankets and brought them to the room.
Plugging in the heater I grabbed (y/n)'s hand and sat them right in front of it.
As they warmed up, I brushed their hair making it look perfect.

Your p.o.v.

Roxy sat me in front of a heater and wrapped a thick, big blanket, and gently brushed my hair.
Slowly I began to warm up.
Suddenly, I scrunched up my face. I felt a sneeze come along.
Loudly I sneezed a couple of times and sniffled.
"Urg, I feel sick," I complained as I felt my throat starting to get sore.
"That's why you don't walk in the rain, sweetheart," Roxy replied.
"I...I know. B-but I couldn't ditch you and not show up!" I complained. Roxy gave a quiet sigh and a chuckle as she sat by me rubbing my shoulder.

I listened to the swishing of her tail against the carpet.
Rubbing my chest I started to couch trying to muffle it.
The best thing I could do was gasp a little for air until I cleared my throat.
"D-damn. That hurts." I sniffled more.
"(Y/n) you're sick. Maybe Freddy will have something for you. He's much better at this than me." Roxy noted as she rushed to get Freddy to help me with my sickness.

Sighing I wrapped myself tightly in the blanket as my eyelids felt heavy.
And of course, my girlfriend was right.
I really shouldn't have walked in the rain but I love her too much.

Third-person p.o.v.

Roxy hurried up to find Freddy in his room.
Quickly Roxy knocked on Freddy's door.

Freddy huffed out of his seat thinking it was Monty coming to bug him again.
As Freddy opened the door he was surprised to see the grey wolf in front of him.
"Oh, Roxanne. I didn't think you were coming to see me. Do you need something?" He asked.
"Do you have any medicine by any chance? (Y/n) walked here in the rain and is sick now." Roxy muttered.
"I sure do! Here let me find it. What are the symptoms (y/n) has?" Freddy questioned.
"Um... Coughing, sneezing, they probably have a sore throat." Roxy guessed.
As Freddy looked through a drawer he grabbed a bottle of medicine and some cough drops.

The bear handed Roxanne the medicine and cough drop bag.
"Give them some of this and hopefully they will feel better soon." He explained.
"Thank you." Roxy rejoiced.
She quickly made her way back to her partner.

Upon opening the door. There sat (y/n) still in front of the heater.

To say the least, you fell asleep sitting up in front of the heater enjoying the warmth.
Gently Roxy shook you awake.
"Hmm?" You looked at her tired.
"I got some medicine. Can you take some for me?" Roxy smiled.
You nodded and coughed a little more. Roxanne poured you a little cup of medicine.
Quickly you took the shot of medicine. It's not the best taste in the world.

Roxy grabbed some pillows and laid them on the floor.
She sat behind you as you turned towards her.
Slowly she cupped your face and gave you a soft kiss on the forehead.
That made you smile.

"Come on let's lay down on the pillows and you need to get some rest." She noted.
As you both laid down you cuddled up to Roxy's chest still feeling the heater.

She wrapped her arms around you and she put her tail over you as a way of protection.

Slowly but surely you fell asleep in the arms of your awesome girlfriend.

(From Author: extra part of the story: You stayed at the pizza plex for a couple of weeks and Roxy took care of you.
She made you smile and feel better about being sick.
Chica helped with making food that would make you feel better.
Roxy thanked Chica for helping.
Eventually, you felt better. The one thing Roxanne told you to never do again was to never walk in the rain.)
