Larry Wheels Opens Up About Overcoming His Battle With Addiction – Fitness Volt (2024)

As they say, everyone has their vices. For Larry Wheels, he decided to show some extreme bravery, and open up about his, as well as the struggles he has in his life because of them.

Addiction comes in many forms, from substance abuse to gambling, and much more. For Wheels, you may think that his addiction is to breaking personal records, considering that is practically all he seems to do. However he explained recently that this is not the case at all.

In a rare moment of brutal honesty, Larry Wheels decided to open up about his addiction. Taking to his YouTube, he explained that he has constantly struggled with being addicted to adult webcam sites. Moreover he detailed how these struggles have affected his life in almost every way imaginable.

“For about the last three years, I have been battling an addiction that is compromising my future, and my relationships. When you go on adult sites, you may see ads for cam sites. Well, sometimes I’d spend an hour or two on an adult site, trying to find the perfect video. Then one day I finally caved in and what the fuss about these cam sites were. Probably the worst decision I ever made, because I sucked in. Slowly but surely, slowly over time. It started off with maybe one or two $10 purchases, tipping a model $10 here or there. Innocent, nothing huge, nothing significant.

“After about 3-6 months of experimenting and being on these cam sites, I noticed myself being on it more and more frequently. Fast forward to the last 8 months, every single month I have been spending any and every last bit of extra money that I have coming in monthly, on cam sites, on online paid p*rn, on models. It has not only compromised my relationship, but my future.

“Luckily I have a very understanding partner, you all know her as Nicole Drinkwater. I have finally had the courage to open up to her about it, because I had no savings, I had no future, nothing. At one point, I was getting into a negative balance, and I had to make excuses as to why I couldn’t afford to go out to this nice dinner, or why we couldn’t take this nice trip here, or why I couldn’t do this or that. I had to make excuses because I wasn’t ready to face the truth. The truth is I am wasting all of money on this cam site addiction.”

From there, Wheels goes on to explain that there was a delayed process, realizing he had a problem. However with the help of his girlfriend, he has not spent any money on this issue in the two months. Moreover he detailed how he felt that this was going to be a risk to his relationship, and his training, as it was all he could think about. That being said, it was not easy for him, with him saying he needed to tell Nicole without looking at her. Nevertheless he says that it is important to trust the people you love to help get you through something like this.
